We are seeking a full-time Director of Human Resources in our Birmingham office. As a senior ministry leader, the Director of Human Resources will be responsible for the administration of all Human Resources functions across the ministry of Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries. This position will supervise and manage Human Resources and payroll staff.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, database and spreadsheet software required. Applicants must demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Applicants must be a Christian and actively involved in a local church.

Other requirements include a minimum of an Undergraduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field. Experience in Human Resources or equivalent certification and HRIS experience preferred. Must have a valid Alabama driver’s license and pass an ABI/FBI/DHR background check.
